Are You Developing A Cool WordPress Plugin? Let me Know About It

Some time ago I did a review of a WordPress plugin called Referrer Detector. After the review the owner of a plugin that did a similar thing (and that apparently inspired the Referrer Detector author) contacted me asking me why I had not reviewed his plugin, too.

The answer was pretty simple: I didn’t review his plugin because I didn’t know about it!

The author of the Referrer Dectetor one emailed me with a link to his plugin. I went there to check it out, liked the idea, and wrote a review about it. Once I discovered the other similar plugin it was too late, because covering two plugins that do pretty much the same job would be pointless for my readers. › Continue reading

Davide Pozzi’s Interview with Me

Davide Pozzi runs a popular Italian blog called TagliaErbe. A while ago he sent me some questions via email, and I answered them. He then published the interview on his blog, but in Italian. I asked if he was planning to do anything with the English version, and he said “no.” So I asked him permission to publish it here. He agreed, and below you will find it.

1. After receiving a degree in International Economics and working for a year within a multinational company, you have decided to quit and pursue entrepreneurial projects on the Internet. Why?

First of all because I find working for large corporations boring (maybe Google is the exception that confirms the rule). Hierarchy and internal politics suck. Most of the times on those big companies people are judged by how long they have been around, and not by the quality of their ideas and actions. › Continue reading
